Good Neighbor Ministry is a Non-Profit Organization that serves the elderly residents and patients at nursing homes, senior centers, and hospitals through a time of hymn singing, choruses, musical concerts, conversation and fellowship. Good Neighbor Ministry began in June 1999 with 4 volunteers and has since grown to more than 200 volunteers including 23 pianists and 21 sing-along leaders. Our volunteers host weekly regular programs to the Bergen Regional Medical Center and 43 different senior nursing care facilities in New Jersey.

The Good Neighbor Ensemble is composed of young musicians and complements the regularly scheduled programs with musical concerts to nursing home residents in Bergen and Passaic counties. Currently, there are 39 members in the Ensemble who play various instruments, including the violin, cello, viola and flute.
